This post is dedicated to a good friend and schoolmate who introduced me to " Birding " . Any good activity needs a mentor and Hemu has been the one who's set me on the way and started me on logging bird species  on EBird as well. When he's not passionately covering ground looking for winged species he's flying himself. Good on you Hemu !!

                     

The Cornell Lab

IWe do want to post on the Cornell Lab  and their two awesome resources for Birders at any level

One. their birding checklist eBird which all of us at Western Ghats Birders use,  and find extremely useful and also for their application Merlin which has bird ID help for over a thousand species

We use both these Apps regularly and they're both invaluable resources . What else can we say 

but the words " Thank You " and to post a decal by the Cornell Lab which reflects the sentiments 

of all of us at Western Ghats Birders
